Leichhardt House: Code of Conduct forms Section 2 of the Leichhardt House: Child & Youth Risk Management Strategy; a document designed to outline expected standards of behaviour for all stakeholders interacting with children and young people in our service environment.
Under the Working with Children (Risk Management & Screening) Act 2000 and the Working with Children (Risk Management & Screening) Regulation 2011, organisations regulated by the Blue Card System are legislatively required to develop, implement and maintain a Child & Youth Risk Management Strategy; a document designed to help to identify potential risks of harm to children and young people and to implement strategies to minimise these risks.

This document is designed to outline when use of a mobile device is permitted and for what purpose; and for managing issues which arise from inappropriate usage of mobile phones.
Leichhardt House: Responsible Use of Computers/Digital Devices & Online Services Policy forms part of Section 4 of the Leichhardt House: CODE OF CONDUCT. This document is designed to outline when use of the internet, computers and other electronic devices is permitted and for what purpose and for managing issues which arise from inappropriate usage of electronic devices or inappropriate conduct on social media.
Leichhardt House: Workplace Discrimination & Harassment Policy forms part of Section 8 of the Leichhardt House: CODE OF CONDUCT. The Hostel is committed to providing a safe, flexible, and respectful environment for staff and clients free from all forms of discrimination, and harassment including sexual harassment.
Leichhardt House procedure for consistently, and effectively, managing situations in the event that a complaint is made about the hostel, hostel staff or policies or procedures, by boarders or the parents/carers of boarders.
