Facilities
Study Space
To assist boarders with their homework, we have a study space that includes 6 Windows computers, a printer and spare desk. All computers have internet protection installed.
Senior boarders (years 11 & 12) that demonstrate they can self-manage their studies are permitted to study in their rooms.
Where the house doesn't provide Wi-Fi generally, for study time we do open up a Wi-Fi network for the boarders to use with their laptops in the dining room under supervision.
Rec Shed
Our indoor recreation space, affectionately known as the "rec shed", features:
- A full size pool table
- An air hockey table
- Giant 10-pin bowling
- A dart board (under close supervision only)
- Home cinema with...
- a large projector
- recliner lounges to sink into
- live TV channels (great for watching State of Origin!)
- Disney+ and Netflix streaming (content ratings of M and below)
- PlayStation 4 and small assortment of games
Gym
The house has a small gym that is available for all boarders to use that includes a treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical and rowing machine.
Large Grassed Backyard
The backyard is used for a number of activities including kicking around a ball and group activities.
Basketball Court
Our basketball court is a great space to shoot some hoops and have fun in a group, or to get some space.
Open with all other outside facilities from 3pm to 8pm (excluding study and mealtimes),
Cricket Batting Cage
The cricket batting cage is normally used seasonally but is available for use all-year round.
BBQ Area
The BBQ area is a great place where boarders can get together, especially during warmer months. It is equipped with 2 gas BBQs (for use by house parents only), 2 large BBQ tables as well as additional seating.
